What is Buddhist Tantra?
In Buddhism, Tantra refers to advanced meditation practices that use imagination, wisdom and compassion to transform our ordinary experiences into the path to enlightenment. It is quite different from the popular cultural ideas sometimes associated with the word Tantra.
What will I learn?
- What Buddhist Tantra really is — and what it isn’t
- Why Tantra is an essential part of the spiritual path
- How we begin to integrate Tantric practice into daily life
How do these differ from normal workshops?
- Explore deeper Buddhist teachings
- Offer a more detailed explanation of the philosophy
- Provide time to reflect on how the teachings apply in daily life
Who are these Workshops for?
- Those who have some familiarity with Buddhist teachings and would like to explore Tantra more deeply
- Those interested in receiving a Tantric empowerment in the future
- Those who already have empowerment and wish to refresh their understanding
