Each class is self-contained, so you can attend any week and begin experiencing the benefits of meditation right away. We sit on comfortable chairs, however if you prefer, you are welcome to sit on the floor.

Gen Kelsang Tsalden

Gen Kelsang Tsalden is a fully ordained, western Buddhist nun and Resident Teacher of Ganden Kadampa Buddhist Centre on Queensland’s Gold Coast.

Ordained in 2006 by her Teacher – fully accomplished meditation master and internationally renowned teacher of Buddhism, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, Gen Tsalden has studied and practiced Kadampa Buddhism for over 20 years, both in Australia and the UK. 

With 17 years experience as a Resident Teacher Gen Tsalden imparts a deep, personal experience of the practice of Buddhism in daily life. Her clear, warm and light hearted delivery of profound, life-changing Buddhist teachings, has seen a new generation of young Gold Coasters discovering and using these practical, logical and helpful instructions, to solve their daily problems and increase their happiness and peace of mind.7

Please arrive by no later 5 minutes prior to you class commencement time so that you can be seated and settled for the start of class.
