Meditation Workshop
resilience - the secret TO inner strength
Sunday 26 November 10am - 1pm
LEARN TRUE RESILIENCE
We live in uncertain times, facing difficulties in the workplace, family life, society and in the world as a whole. We know human life is difficult and we will all encounter problems we cannot avoid. At these times in our life we sometimes cope, but unfortunately we sometimes crumble or fall apart.
We need the mental ability to recover quickly and to bounce back when we are knocked by life events.
We have coped in the past and therefore we can cope in the future, but the great news is that we can learn to do more than cope.
During this workshop Gen Tsalden will explain through meditation and practical examples, new and helpful ways of thinking and reacting that we can easily adopt in our everyday life, giving us the confidence to be able to face full on whatever life brings.
TIME: 10am to 1pm
COST: $50
What To Expect
There are two sessions in each workshop. They consist of an introduction, simple breathing meditation and teaching and conclude with a contemplative meditation on the teaching from that session.
Buddhist meditation involves staying alert and keeping our back straight, so we sit on chairs for the duration of the course. There’s no need to bring anything, although you may wish to bring some water and a jacket. Refreshments are provided in the break session.
Attendees come from all walks of life and there’s no need to have any meditation experience as all meditations are guided. Everyone is welcome.
JOIN US FOR A VEGETARIAN BBQ
You’re invited to join us for a vego sausage BBQ immediately following the workshop. Everyone is welcome. Gold coin donation for food and non-alcholic drinks.
