Ganden Kadampa Buddhist Centre has a goal to bring more peace and happiness into the lives of our Gold Coast community, through more drop-in meditation classes and courses. 

We can only do this with your help. Whether you walk with friends, family or on your own, every step helps support a place where people can find peace, kindness and practical wisdom.

Invite your friends and family to sponsor your walk, enjoy a beautiful day together, and help us continue offering meditation classes and courses that benefit our whole community.

Where do I start?

Walk Solo or Make a Team

Everyone is welcome! Grab a mate or family member, bring your fur babies, or just be the lone ranger! You’ll meet new friends on the day. 

Start Your Fundraising

We’ve made it easy for you to start collecting sponsors. Once you register to walk, you’ll receive a printable sponsorship sheet, as well as a QR code for friends and family to sponsor you on the spot.

Your Personal Target

We’ve set you a target of $20 from each of 10 friends or family members – a total of $200. This is your goal – something to aim for. You may collect less or better still, you may collect more, but it all helps. 

On The Day

We’ll gather together to receive some inspiration, then embark on the walk together. Go at your own pace – there’s no competition!

You are cordially invited to attend our very first fundraising dinner evening. Enjoy a short guided meditation followed by a delicious three-course home-cooked Italian meal, in the company of like-minded friends.

This will be a wonderful opportunity to spend meaningful time together as a spiritual community, as well as providing much-needed funds for our centre’s development. Everyone is welcome.

About Our Centre

Ganden Kadampa Buddhist Centre is a non-profit organisation dedicated to the mental well-being of the people of the Gold Coast region.

We offer meditation classes and courses suitable for everyone at a low price point to ensure they are accessible for all.

We deeply appreciate your support of this event to help us to provide this invaluable service in these challenging times.
