We spend almost all our time and energy trying to avoid problems and experience happiness by changing the world around us. However, our unhappiness and difficulties do not come from external things, they are the result of the negative actions, or ‘karma’, we performed in the past. By receiving the purifying blessing of Buddha Vajrasattva and turning inwards for solutions we embark on a true path to happiness. The empowerment is a blissful guided meditation in which we make a personal connection with Buddha Vajrasattva. Then, through learning how to engage in the associated meditation practice, our negative karma is dissolved away and we can connect to the endless joy and natural purity that lies within.

In the commentary we will learn the special brief practice of Buddha Vajrasattva, in which, through identifying strongly with this Buddha’s qualities, we can purify all our negative karma and obstructions. 

When we have a strong loving mind, our whole experience of the world changes. In addition, others feel this change and respond to it. In this very real sense, love has the power to transform our world.

Buddha Maitreya is the embodiment of the loving kindness of all the Buddhas. The empowerment is a blissful guided meditation that connects us to Maitreya’s enlightened love giving us great power in our spiritual development.

In the commentary we will learn the special brief practice of Buddha Maitreya, in which, through identifying strongly with this Buddha’s qualities, we nurture them within ourselves. In this way we begin to become someone whose love transforms the world.

All of us have within us the potential for universal love and great compassion and through receiving the blessings of 1000-armed Avalokiteshvara, (the embodiment of the compassion of all  enlightened beings ) we can ripen our limitless potential.

We all posses the potential for limitless compassion and purity but how can we realise this potential? On this day we will learn how to live a pure life so that we can ripen our limitless potential.

In the empowerment we will receive the powerful  blessings from the Buddha of Compassion Avalokiteshvara. His thousand arms show how his compassion protects all living beings without exception. Through receiving his blessing and protection our own compassion will grow and we will become an enlightened being like him.
